Studio24 Pro CD version

APDL/ProAction are releasing a CD version of Studio24 Pro. Costing £49, the CD comes with a colour printed manual, or an upgrade costs £10 (with another £10 for the manual upgrade too).

Although the software itself appears to be the same as the one that used to be sold by Pineapple Software, APDL are hoping to add a number of images, fonts, drawfiles and other resources. There will also be demo versions on Risc World and RISCDomain magazine discs if you want to try before you buy.

For those of you not familiar with it, Studio24 Pro is a high-end bitmap graphics package similar to Photodesk. Although Photodesk has the edge in specs, S24Pro is of course a lot cheaper, and with good spraypaint and texturing facilities it's a good buy for the budding graphics artist on a budget.
