Media Watch

Seen something RISC OS related in the media? Want to share it with everyone? Here's the place to do it!

Now extended to include pre-RISC OS Acorn hardware.

  • No points for including stuff from RISC OS magazines like Acorn User, Archive, RISC World and the like. Computer Shopper, which used to have an Acorn column and threatens to have RISC OS related stuff in it's general news section, is a judgement call.
  • Kudos for sightings in the background of TV shows, magazine shots and so on.
  • Top points for a traditionally non-RISC OS conduit mentioning our favourite OS (even in passing).
You should log in to use the posting facility.

Back when Acorn, the microcomputing company that gave birth to ARM, was still a going concern, a popular add-on for its ARM-based Archimedes and RiscPC products was a software 'PC Emulator' which allowed the systems to run MS-DOS 3.3 on emulated x86 hardware."
