Why Haven't AcornArcade reviewed Tek 1608 yet and why isn't it in the AA Shop?! With little in the way of new RISC OS gaming news these days (there's been one post a month on average this year), most of the staff are better employed on the general RISC OS news site - The Icon Bar. There's little motivation to do lots of work on the site - name three commercial RISC OS games released in the past year off the top of your head! We'll do what we can, but holding your breath probably isn't a smart move right now. WRT Equinox, is it even at a stage where a preview is necessary? We don't have a firm ETA on its release, or really know how it's going to be released. Most of the info we do know is in TIB podcast #1 anyway. As for the shop - I don't think anyone actually uses it. I've certainly never seen any money from it! Nor, incidentally, do we carry advertising on any of our sites (not that there's many people who could afford it now anyway!) - so given that we have to pay for hosting fees now, it actually costs us in cold hard cash as well as time and effort to run this site. Therefore we have to prioritise where best to spend our time. |

Well, Brain Games' 'WARI' Murklesoft's Z80Em Murklesoft's 6502Em and StarFighter 3000 V3.06 and V3.07 (Sort Of OPEN TTD cos you have to buy a copy of the PC Game.) OK Point taken, there isn't a lot of commercial releases but there haven't been many PD Reviews either recently. It says on the JOBS section on your site that your always happy to have new PD Reviewers on the site, so, is it possible if i can review some PD games like SUPER METHANE BROS, GAIO and OPEN TTD? thanks |
