I don't know if others see the same thing as I'm seeing when reading the 3D Engine design thread in 'General' but it only displays a link to the first 6 postings at the top. Haven't noticed it in other threads but it might be happening there too. |

The whole threading system seems to be broken. Still, if Tim is receiving as many auto-bug-reports as the thing claims, he'll presumably do something about it or risk being snowed under with email ;-) |

Yes, everytime it says it emails me a bug report it really does. This forum software is used on 6 websites so as you can imagine annoying bug reports make up quite a large proportion of my daily email. However, I don't have a clue what's wrong with it. The part of the code that deals with the threaded stuff is rather long and complicated (I don't understand half of it and I wrote it), but as far as I can see it all should be working properly. The fact that it's not repeatable, seems to have no relevance to thread size, browser or anything is making it rather tricky to track down. |
