Why, at least for Mr Tribbeck's avatar, does the server send images as Content-Type: application/riscos with a .pjpeg extension? :-s Does it not recognise 'pjpeg' perhaps and fail to look at the contents of the file? I noticed that NS doesn't render his avatar, whereas IE does, that's all. |

I don't recall creating a progressive JPEG, but I know it's been scaled down... |

Why, at least for Mr Tribbeck's avatar, does the server send images as Content-Type: application/riscos with a .pjpeg extension? :-sIt (the web server) is probably not recognising pjpeg; I did put code in to map pjpeg to jpeg, but it looks like it's not working. [edit: I put code into *attachment* handling for pjpeg, maybe I *didn't* put it in avatar handling?] As for NS not rendering it, which version are you using?! I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.x which works fine, and Netscape uses the same rendering engine (albeit a few subversions behind). ________ Cheers, Rich. |
