Unregistered user | Tim do you have a small logo to use for linking to www.iconbar.com? Maybe a banner as well? |

Unregistered user | I don't know if it has Tims blessing but there's one at www.riscos.org if it's any help |

Unregistered user | The logo on riscos.org is basically a shrunk down version of the site logo at the top of this page. I told Paul Vigay ages ago I'd do him a proper one but haven't quite got round to it yet. It's on my "to-do" list - I'll try and knock something together this week. |

Unregistered user | Actually, it's not - I re-drew the logo in ArtWorks so I could give him a better one, one that anti-aliases to the background colour he's using. I've knocked up some logos on buttons in various background colours, but haven't got round to finishing them off; I'll see what i can do this weekend. |

Unregistered user | Maybe you could make them a little bigger, a couple of my friends commented that they were really hard to read, specially if you don't know RISC OS and the Icon Bar. After all I'm trying to send unsuspecting PC users to you! 172 |

Unregistered user | Far be it for me to critise your efforts with the Iconbar logo, but, When I went to your site using the PC at college, the person next to me said <quote>Konbar? whats that? some sort of pub?</quote>! Looking at it again, perhaps the I and C are a tad close together are they not? cheers! [Edited by 78 at 20:15, 29/11/2000] |

Unregistered user | I have put an Iconbar link button on my website but I am sorry to say that though the spectrum of different coloured buttons looks fine on the Iconbar site the individual buttons are simply too fussy and illegible on their own. It is a shame that all that effort and those graphical bells and whistles should be wasted, but simplicity usually pays off better. Anybody care to design something a bit crisper? -- Gavin Wraith |

Unregistered user | Ah ok, that's good then . We basically need something like the AA button: and then the banner can be whatever. |

Unregistered user | They may look small, but they're the "proper" size - the same as all the other buttons of this type. As for PC users - do we really want their sort here? |

Unregistered user | We've heard the "Kon Bar" thing before, but it's a bit late now... Just goes to show the level of intelligence of said PC users (ooh, a bit anti-MS today aren't we? The I and C are not that close together, it's the light area between them that looks a bit like a join. I tried reducing it when doing the ArtWorks version but it didn't look right either. |

Unregistered user | As for PC users - do we really want their sort here? How else are you going to convert them? RISC OS can still use a few new faces, can't it? 172 |
