Unregistered user I have been sent what appears to be an interlaced JPEG, but neither ChangeFSI, Fresco or FYEO2 will touch it... It's not a problem personally, because the Gimp can read it, but it's not good if RISC OS can't even handle "standards" such as JPEGs!

interlaced JPEG?? :/
havent heard of 'em before, & the only problem i've seen with jpegs & RiscOS are some images produced by Song Mavica digital cameras, although there was some software released that read them.

Unregistered user Mr Jake, there must be something wrong with the jpeg. Perhaps Gimp is more tolerent. I've certainly never come across a jpeg the RO browsers or CFSI couldn't handle.

Mark, I think Mr Jake means progressive JPEG.

Unregistered user Try taking a slash at it using JClean - available from http://www.dacha.freeuk.com/
