The Doctor Message #2180, posted at 23:13, 1/4/2001
Unregistered user At the moment, whenever I click on an MP3 file, the machine tries to load it into a program called MP3CONV (which is not actually a player!)

I'd like to set AMPlayer as the default player.
How do I do this please?
Cheers!

Unregistered user AMPlayer has the line Set Alias$@RunType_1AD ... in it's !Boot file. This tells the OS to load AMPlayer when an mp3 is double clicked on.

Unfortunately MP3CONV must also have a similar line in its own !Boot file. Either delete the line, or ensure that AMPlayer is booted after MP3CONV.
