I fixed that at the same time, although I haven't tested it - let me know if you're still having problems.

Andrew is there some hidden purpose to these completely pointless single-smiley replies you keep posting?

The 'feature' being that 1 is added to your post count when you post a message? The old forum did have a minimum post length before your post count was incrememted, but that hasn't been implemented in this one yet.

Yes Tim the points are:

1. Trying to wind up :moss:
2. Pushing the limits of your code
3. :o

Posting a message is not testing my code, we know that that works. The pointless spam is just a little irritating. I see that a new message has been posted, click into the forum, click into the thread and it's just a :o. 20 seconds of my life wasted :P. If you're going to do it at least keep it in the playpen.

Ok fair enough. As I say though I've posted in response to other :o-ophiles or posted several hundred to see how many I can get away with. I've also been waiting to see when the blank posts will be combatted as well although you got fed up of that and I think I stopped.

Technically they aren't blank posts, you've put hard spaces in there. To get around that I'd need a list of every "valid" character (not just letters, but any character that can be used in a smiley). I can't be bothered to come up with a list like that but if anyone else wants to, feel free.
