Unregistered user | I agree it' about time we could talk. The more we talk about it, the more people will know about RiscOS. |

Unregistered user | There are indeed several (RISC OS related?!) channels on IRC: #acorn - which is the most populated, but #argonet - supposedly frequented by Argonet There are a few others too - #riscpc, and some I can't remember. The topic of conversation ranges wildly, most of the time it has nothing to do with RISC OS, but there's usually someone around who can answer questions. HTH Stephen |

Unregistered user | Any IRCNet server. I'm sure there's a list of them somewhere, try: ircnet.demon.co.uk, chat.bt.net, usual IRC ports. |

Unregistered user | Hi Steve Your not the only one to use the PC. I hate the PC, but i only use it to play FreeCell and the internet. Anything els I do is on my A3010. Tell you what though I raced it with the PC next to me with a few things and It beet it.eg, switch on with 1/2 a dozon apps on. list 1 to 100 on a spread sheet, draw and paint thing. Allthough it cost me a 1/3 less than todays PC (1993), it dose what i want when i whant and i bet the PC can not do all of this on a 4MbRam. Eaven my lad says the graphics and some of the apps are better. |

Unregistered user | Well my A3000 lasted from 1990(ish?) to 96. SA RPC to 98, still in use though I was forced to a PC. My PII350 is being upgraded after 18 months. That's progress for ya! |

Unregistered user | Well I'll be honest, I use a PC to access the internet. But I did notice that there was an Acorn IRC client, IIRC itt was Lirc or something. So are there any acorn specific IRC channels that everyone goes in to talk about stuff?? And if there is, I think I should be told 242 |

Unregistered user | Well as a Musician (school peep, not pro ) I cannot afford to be without Sibelius. It really is the best piece of software I have ever used in my life. |
