So will we be seeing http://m.iconbar.com/ or http://mobile.iconbar.com/?I get a 'mobile friendly' version of the site on my Android phone. It's annoying because I only read the 'Recent discussions' bit, and now that's buried within the 'forums' link. Arguably even going to the 'forums' link isn't the same, as the 'Recent discussions' link gives an overview of what's changed across all of the boards. I don't care about the news feed, as there is hardly ever any news. It's the community that keeps me coming back to the site - the forums. I used to use my mobile to visit the site, but I've stopped using the site at all on my phone since the change - because it's harder to use. My phone doesn't have an option to request the desktop version of the site either - it's only Eclair. Can we have the old site back on mobiles please? Or a version which emphasises the forums. |

I don't (yet) have a smartphone but on my Android tablet I get what looks like the desktop version.Just checked again on my phone - I basically only get the middle column of the 3-column homepage layout, without the pale blue strips on the left and right. The blue strip across the top has one missing drop-down as well. |

So will we be seeing http://m.iconbar.com/ or http://mobile.iconbar.com/?Not sure if we ever announced this, but try http://i.iconbar.com/ Something I knocked together with a bit of JQuery a while ago. Works on Safari mobile; haven't tested it on anything else... |

Get with the times, grandad! And there you have it. Proof, if ever it's needed, that owning an iThing is more about being trendy than about being practical. Also, I'm doing a lot of mobile stuff at work, so I need test gear.Okay, that's a better reason. |

It's made by Apple. There are things about the iPhone itself I don't like, but my dislike of Apple is a major starting point. |

Did the iPhone do this, then? And no, it's not a NetSurf problem, Firefox on Linux shows it too! |

There's some invalid HTML in the left hand column where the square promo image and link is. Has somebody changed the template recently? |

Quiz: How much do you know about the iPhone's rivals? It claims Nokia & Microsoft entered a special relationship in 2007. That was 11th February 2011, so I gave up after that. |
