Nice one. I'd totally forgotten about Starch: that was great fun at the time, as I recall. I wonder if there are copies anywhere? I'll have to ransack my RPC's drive in case I still have it. |

Great article on Eurogamer:If anybody has write priveleges on that site, it would be a good idea to put a message on with a link to Tom Walker's free RiscPC emulator, in case any PEE CEE users are tempted to give it a whirl and remind themselves of what they've been missing, and also point out that this dead platform now has a 1 Ghz machine, even if you do have to order it from east Germany. It was an exciting development back in 2002 but crowing about it now is just silly. |

Why am I suddenly reminded of the opening of TIB's Iyonix review from 2005? Even six years ago RISC OS was laughableIf anybody has write priveleges on that site, it would be a good idea to put a message on with a link to Tom Walker's free RiscPC emulator, in case any PEE CEE users are tempted to give it a whirl and remind themselves of what they've been missing, and also point out that this dead platform now has a 1 Ghz machine, even if you do have to order it from east Germany.I don't think there's any point evangelising about it, especially when any x86 user can simply turn round and point to their four or eight 4GHz cores in a single box.
