I found this a lot with a cheaper TFT I've got. Some will tell you the mode is unsupported using its OSD, others will just appear blank. You'll either need to find a way to run the game in a supported screen mode, or find a monitor which supports odd screen modes. |

I believe the updated version on our Krisalis Gold CD is OK (I recall playing it myself). The game has a VGA mode which should be LCD-safe. Thinking about it, the version on K-Gold is probably SA/RO4. I recall it worked on RiscPC though - not quite sure why you'd have problems with it. [Edited by arawnsley at 11:20, 12/10/2010] |

Another non cheap but sure option is a scan doubler like this one: http://www.ambery.com/rgbcgatovgac.html with it all games will work and at the correct speed! I wonder if there is a UK source? |

I wonder if there is a UK source?Well, I can think of at least one good candidate. Stocks lots of stuff, RISC OS friendly and lives in Worthing... |

I can remember playing that on a RiscPC 600 - typically completing the levels was a race against both the countdown timer and the unknown number of seconds to the next unpredictable crash! It got more unreliable as time went on, and I think it eventually stopped working altogether. |
