Been trying to track down some of the games I used to play on the Acorn.

I remember a tank game, could have run on either the Risc-PC or or something that looked like a A3020 but I have no idea what the model number was as I only really remember the Risc-PC.

The game was a tank game, I seem to remember it being 3D or something that looked similar to me at the time. You could play as German, Soviet or American and control a single tank in a sort of survivor mode or a team of tanks, being able to tell the others where to go whilst controlling one directly.

Does anyone know the game I'm trying to remember?

It might have come with a magazine, we certainly got most of our games that way.

Thanks for looking!

Was a commercial game, a follow-on from Zarch.

An excellent game, and I had hours of fun with it! Then I got a StrongARM and it ran at about a million FPS unhappy

Hah, I've come here the reverse way: I've been looking at Mr Vanpeebles videos on YouTube, and got inspired to recreate my old Acorn setup, one way or another. Does anyone know where I can find stuff like Magnetoids, Axis, Aggressor etc? Some of my old disks don't work anymore, and some won't read properly with the PC utility I have.

Chris if you're wondering how you've managed to keep some 'new' copies of that piece of 22 year old software 'in stock', that would be the price.

As we only have one new and one second hand it makes no business sense to lower the price, I can't buy any more!
