What currently seems frequently to be the case for me:

The closer it comes to somewhere I've planned to go - the likelihood of poor weather.

(Which is why I'm sat here, now, based on yesterday's forcast. Annoyingly, looking now, today's weather has moved to tomorrow, and today looks okay. BAH!)
