Bother. No unicode support in the forums. Do any RISC OS browsers support it? Even in URLs? http://tinyarro.ws/ |

Bother. No unicode support in the forums.I doubt it. Wouldn't most use the standard fonts, which wouldn't support Cyrillic or Chinese characters...? Also remember this is the old server with old PHP and no mbstring module, as mentioned every time you try to modify the database. Edit: Of course, I'm not classing Netsurf as being a purely RISC OS browser, so I'm quite prepared for it to be using some different font method. ________ Cheers, Rich. |

Bother. No unicode support in the forums.Yes, if you have modern Netsurf + Unicode font manager (I.E. RO5) and the cyberbit font. |

1) The UFM works on all OS versions, not just RO5.Bother. No unicode support in the forums.Yes, if you have modern Netsurf + Unicode font manager (I.E. RO5) and the cyberbit font. 2) As NetSurf uses a Wimp icon for the URL bar, the only way it'll support IDN sensibly is if you're running RO5 and have configured the system to use the UTF-8 encoding in the Wimp. This isn't likely, as most applications know nothing about it. Regardless, NetSurf on RISC OS isn't compiled with IDN support enabled, so it probably wouldn't work, anyway. |
