I want these three games, for which I have paid already in times long past. I only want the versions I already own a license to use (if indeed licenses are what they sold in those days). I have a terrible feeling I will have to front more money to get hold of them again, since I have been lax in keeping track of my original copies. Is this true? If not, can anyone help me with locating them? If so, I don't particularly mind. Is The Dungeon still available? I know I can get spanky new versions of the other two from APDL, but I don't want to, since I don't want spanky new versions, and I don't want the other games they come with. I am sorry if I am treading old ground again, but I couldn't find an FAQ for this forum. By the way, (I have a feeling this will become more of a topic than my topic) I don't see why these games are not available for free download. Surely the only people who know about them have already owned them. The same goes for RISC OS (versions 3.7 and below) and the BBC ROMs. I guess when people try to sell them these days they're taking advantage of the fact that an actual license didn't change hands in those halcyon days of yore. Thankfully, I still have (some of) my old hardware and so was able to at least get hold of OSs, but am thwarted when it comes to my old games. BTW, if I need to be educated I'm happy for it to be on this forum. |

Unfortunately they're all copyrighted still, but if you poke around various p2p sites, you might find ROMs and Game collections that might have the particular ones you're looking for. |

Yes, it's not like an absence of piracy has produced massive development of Acorn software, has it? |

It's people like you who're killing the Acorn scene. Without your reprehensible attitude, development of... ahahaha... I can't do this and keep a straight face :-P |
