Unregistered user I'd really appreciate it if any of you can tell me if it's possible to attach (and use) an Optical mouse on a RISC PC. The optical mouse I have in mind is a PC one it has a PS/2 connector, would it be possible to use a PS2/Serial adaptor plug (yes, they do exist) hoik it onto the serial port and configure the mouse using *Configure MouseType so it thinks its an MS Serial mouse (no the Optical mouse is a rebadged Trust Optical Mouse - me buy MS never!).

The PS-2 plug seems to be the wrong size for the RPC mouse socket, hence my intention of hooking it up to the Serial.

I thank you in anticipation of your help which will of course be gratefully received.

Regards

Annraoi
