What do you mean "hahoosive troll"? I don't mean literally difficult, but difficult if I want to exhibit all my skills. Potential clients want to look at my Web site and be impressed and they are not from the RISC OS background. My site has been simple HTML before and it was naff. From what I read on this board most of the browsers you use do support JavaScript bar one. What effects do you see now when you access my site from your RISC OS browers? I am looking towards re-implementing the bar in HTML once I get the hang of Macromedia Fireworks. I can then change the look of the buttons and make them clickable images in HTML without much JavaScript. [Edited by Frazzle at 15:42, 10/10/2005] |

The point that various people have made is that you can demonstrate your skills with something simple and elegant. Anyone who's impressed by doing things a complicated way when it can be done by a simple and elegant one is badly in need of education. If you're using Javascript where HTML will do the job it reflects badly on you to anyone who knows what they're doing, not the reverse. |

I think it's sad that the RISC OS browser market has been slow to catch up with all the technologies.<chocky>Yeah, what you gonna do about it?</chocky> |
