I thought I might as well start a new thread for this, since it's so quiet around here. Plus it might get the attention of a few more people. Plus after a short search I gave up looking for the old thread :P

Anyway, order of the day is that My Neighbour Totoro is on THIS FRIDAY at 17:35 on FILM FOUR. As usual it's a big question as to whether it's the japanese or english dub, but that shouldn't stop you from watching it.

Also, THIS SUNDAY at 15:00 on FILM FOUR is Only Yesterday.

If you miss either of these then you're obviously a CUNT. Unless you've already seen them.

And for those CUNTs who haven't seen A Clockwork Orange, you can see one HERE. It's also on at 23:05 on FILM FOUR this SUNDAY.

Yes. Every day at 9:17pm precisely. ;)

It can be watched at anytime - although if doing so on the laptop, while travelling to work on on a bus or train is probably a bad idea.

I meant it's a bit early for a tv channel to broadcast porn! :P

Neither have I.

That's what PVR's are for!

Unless it's crashed horribly, or failed to turn on, my computer should be happily recording it.

It's on Film4+1 in 17 minutes. For various reasons - well, one mainly - I'm not in a happy mood tonight. So fuck it, I'm going to dig a bottle of something out of the cupboard, drink and watch crap on telly.

Assuming, of course, that by "watching crap" you meant "watching Film4+1"

I don't want a poxy wii but I'm sure as my bladder starts to fill I'll want a wee later.

(I have opened a bottle of malibu on my desk - I couldn't open any wine because I can't find my corkscew, and it's only white wine and malubu i could reach in the cupboard because of all the crap piled up in there. still. It does the job.)

And so far for my neighbour totoro, I'm thinking What's the point?

Dunno - depends on how far in it is. I've just cut the adverts out from my recording, so can't easily work out how far in you are.

i've forgotten what point it had reached when I said that - but it's just finished, and i'm still left thinking what's the point. It's a kids film afacis. a couple of kids and their dad move to a new house closer to the hospital where their mum is, meet a freiendly 'monster', get in a tiz over a telegram and the little one gets lost, and the friendly monster saves the day. How soppy and pointless.

That said there were a couple of moments that i found really funny - like when totoro was stood at the bus stop with them.

Obviously that kind of thing doesn't cheer you up, then :P

Yes :)

But still, isn't it refreshing to see a kids film that doesn't feel the need to squeeze adult-only jokes in at every opportunity? (Or many jokes at all, for that matter)
