Fresco can't do file uploads, it sends the data where it should be sending the filename. The only RISC OS browsers that handle file upload correctly are Oregano and the latest, latest version of WebsterXL (a fix to the incorrect file naming it used to do, which might not affect the screenshot CGI). |

They also seem rather small on my 19 inch monitor! I tend to use Mode 31 (800x600) where possible, but for that 256 colour work my best option is 640x512! I *need* my Omega!!!! |

I'm curious: What's c.munkie? Is it any good? I was fiddling around writing a multi-layer perceptron (an AI neural net), and it kind of worked on random data, but then I had this great idea of making a game with AI controlled players. So that when you have a munkie surrounded by other nasty munkies, it thinks and runs away, or if it is near just one other munkie that has an object it wants it might try to fight him. munkie.c created some typical inputs to train the perceptron with. Don't know if it works yet because that's as far as I got... |

It's a program wot I wrote called Character Map. I got annoyed with other similar ones because they didn't show which Alt keypress was required, and because it was hard to see what each character was! Currently unreleased, as with most of my stuff. I may lump it on a web s*ite at some point. |

Bah, dozey desktops just aren't interesting. Everyone customises RO ones... I tried to upload but Fresco was having none of it yesterday. I will try again. My RO desktop is unique. I like it. I'll shut up... now. |

oh, a tip: if you use both MSN and yahoo messenger, you should try 'trillian' (http://www.trillian.cc) .. one client for all.
Or you could just use ROS, forget about yahoo and get the MSN client |
