RISCOS Ltd. annual report

RISCOS Ltd. have released their first annual report (a 900k PDF file available from their website). It makes for very interesting reading, and includes details on how many copies of RISC OS 4 have been sold, and exactly what the company's financial loss for this year is. There are also some statements on their plans for the future, which include RISC OS 4.5 later this year, and then RISC OS 5 next year (fingers crossed).

Unregistered user Personally, the two things I found most interesting were the number of people who have bought RISC OS 4 and exactly how many Foundation subscribers there are (speaking as an FDR writer here).

Unregistered user You do realise that the figures refer to January 2000. In particular, the figure of RISC OS 4 sets sold to Riscstation etc is probably an order of magnitude higher than that quoted. (RS only started shipping 2 months before the report came out)
