Microdigital fix bugs and increase speed

Microdigital have released a new FPGA image for the Omega. The latest update includes changes to accommodate RISC OS Adjust and the forthcoming ARMTwister. It also provides a performance boost of up to 10%.

Their "soft hardware" concept allows them to update the functionality of the northbridge and graphics chips without physical modifications to the computer.

Last week Microdigital also revealed that the Omega could run RISC OS Adjust with 1GB memory, and hinted that up to 4GB might be possible.

Can anyone point me to a review of the Omega with screenshots, features, bugs, etc? Does it work OK with everyday use like the Iyonix or is it like trying to use Vantage?

How does the FPGA updating process work? Is it like the Flash updater for the OS in the Iyonix?
